Naomi

When Anna kidded in spring of 2024, she had two does that Ellie quickly named Ruth and Naomi. Anna has a reputation around here of having very standoffish does so when the twins were born, we prayed that Naomi would live up to the meaning of her name - gentle. After a few weeks, she warmed up to us and now she sneaks up on me to get snuggles. Naomi is the biggest kid we have raised so far - already surpassing the weight of does in years past. She will be one year old in February 2025 so we're hoping to breed her for Fall 2025 babies. I'm really looking forward to seeing the udder on her. Her dam, and both her sire's grand dams have amazing udder capacity with one giving over a gallon!
